After much consideration, the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce board of directors has elected to postpone their annual Distinguished Community Service Awards Banquet. While normally held in late February, this year’s event will be reschedule for a later date.
“Our first and most important responsibility is the safety of our businesses, citizens and the community,” said Chamber Executive Director DeLaney Timberman. “We are hopefully that, with capacity limitations and safety precautions in place, we will be able to celebrate our 25th year of the Distinguished Service Awards later this year. We are committed to honoring and recognizing all of the hardworking individuals, groups, and businesses who give so much to our community!”
Nominations for the distinguished service awards are now open and will close on March 5, 2021. Forms are available at the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce office located inside the TN River Museum, on the Chamber Facebook page, or by emailing info@hardincochamber.com.
